
Tall upright green fronds that are 24-36" long surround the cinnamon stick-like inner fronds which remain throughout the winter.
A North American native fern. Forms an arching mound of large triangular green fronds. In the spring, interesting spore-bearing fronds shoot out from the centre of the clump, turning a rich cinnamon-brown colour. Plants prefer moist woodland conditions, and an acidic soil. Tolerates sun in cool regions. Deciduous.
