Loose clumps of upright stalks topped with daisy-like flowers with attractive cone heads.
Coneflowers bloom in summer and fall , forming a showy, upright clump which is a favourite feeding station for many butterflies. Seed heads are useful in dried arrangements. Plants may be easily divided in early spring. Self-sown plants can also be moved at that time. Excellent for cutting. Selected as Perennial Plant of the Year in 1998.

Grow at 68-70°F in long day/high light conditions. Water moderately and allow plants to dry a little. Once actively growing, lightly fertilize. Echinacea don't like to be wet or over-fertilized. Generally finish in 8-10 weeks based on conditions.
