Grow on at 65-75° F under long days to promote blooming. Keep soil slightly dry until they break dormancy, then evenly moist but not overly wet or dry. Once actively growing feed at 75-100 ppm N with each watering. Pinch to increase branching habit. Plants generally finish in 6-8 weeks based on growing conditions.

Plant in well draining professional potting soil keeping crown of plant at same level it was in the plug. Once potted, water lightly and apply a broad spectrum fungicide according to directions to avoid crown and root rot.
Buddleias should be planted in a full sun location with fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Studies have shown that adding lime to the soil will result in increased growth and better floral quality. They are also moderately drought tolerant once established.
