Grow on at 60-75°F in high light, water plants thoroughly but allow soil to dry between watering. Andropogons benefit from good drainage and air circulation. Provide constant liquid feeding, at very low levels of 50 to 75 ppm N. Andropogons are warm season grasses that will finish in 6-8 weeks based on growing conditions.

Plant in well draining professional potting soil keeping crown of plant at same level it was in the plug. Once potted, water immediately and apply a broad spectrum fungicide according to directions to avoid crown and root rot.
Easy to grow in moist meadows with average garden soil. Drought tolerant once established.
