Mayapple, Indian Apple or Wild Mandrake

Podophyllum peltatum

Mayapple is a unique native wildflower in that it has only 2 leaves and 1 flower followed by a lemon-shaped berry.

Greenhouse Growing Instructions:

Grow at 50-65° F providing 50% shade, keeping plants evenly moist but never wet or completely dry. Plants generally finish in 6-10 weeks based on growing conditions.

Transplanting Instructions:

Plant in moist soil in shade to partial sun. Will colonize in a woodland setting and naturalize.
