Hardy Fig

Ficus carica 'Chicago Hardy'

When your tree matures, it could reach 15-30 feet tall x 15-35 feet wide but can be trimmed to size and maintained as small as 6 feet high if desired. We recommend spacing these trees 35-40 feet apart to ensure room for growth.

Drought and poor soil tolerant, but grows best in average garden soil with good drainage. In the north, it should be mulched heavily and planted in a sunny spot with southern exposure.
