Greigii Tulips are fairly short Tulips but the flowers are very large in proportion to the plant. Due to their height Greigii Tulips are excellent for rock gardens but are also spectacular when planted in large clusters in a flowerbed or border. Most varieties have attractive patterned leaves with stripes or spots, in purple or brown. If left undisturbed Greigii Tulips will naturalize really well, which means they come back year after year and even multiply.
